Spurgeon Seewald got a pretty great gift a few months after his 1st birthday when he — along with his mother, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, and dad, Ben — welcomed baby brother Henry Wilberforce. But this week’s episode of Counting On turns back the clock to when “Spurge” was celebrating his own birthday back in November in classic Duggar style, including tons presents and plenty of family members ready to shower him with compliments.
“Spurgeon’s an adorable, handsome little guy,” says Jessa’s sister Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo. “He’s got the best hair.”
Jinger’s husband, Jeremy, calls the tot a “remarkably cute child.”
And Spurgeon, now 19 months, shows off just how “remarkably cute” he is when gets to be king of the world as his mother lifts him into the air on his special day.

As for the other family members’ thoughts on Spurgeon? Dad Ben, 22, describes him as “energetic, interactive [and] happy.”
Aunt Jana says he’s “always smiling,” while sisters Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Joy-Anna (Duggar) Forsyth agree that he’s “adorable.”
Joseph reflects on his nephew’s evolution over the past 12 months, saying with a chuckle: “He’s cute, and he was cuddly. Now he’s more independent.”
But it’s uncle Jason, 17, who sums up Spurgeon’s special baby charm when he reveals the tot is a “fat, plump and happy” kid.
November was a joyful month for many Duggars, particularly for Jessa, who celebrated her own 24th birthday the day before Jinger married Jeremy on Spurgeon’s birthday.
